Solo Saxophone is a unique entertainment option which is ideal for Corporate Hospitality Events, Birthday Parties, Special Occasions and is outstanding as Wedding Reception Entertainment. Our totally self contained solo saxophone act comes complete with full PA system and backing tracks. He plays in a variety of musical styles and is both entertaining and professional. For most events, performing 2 x 50 minute sets of live music over a two and a half hour period is the norm.

About our Solo Saxophonist
Internationally renowned saxophonist and Professor of Saxophone for the Royal Marines, Simon Bates is known and respected for his stylistic versatility and instrumental prowess. He is in great demand on the London session scene and is a regular member of Simply Swing.
His playing features on countless adverts, film scores, television shows, theme tunes and pop recordings. Simon has worked with a wide variety of bands and musicians including Elvis Costello, Jamie Cullum, Dizzee Rascal, Shane MacGowan, Lulu, Rick Wakeman, D:Ream, Chaka Khan, Emma Bunton, Seal and Carleen Anderson. He was Musical Director for Rick Astley, Bette Midler and TV show Johnny Vaughan Tonight amongst many others and appears regularly on Paul O’Grady Live.
